Official endorsements

Recently, the Federation of Veterinarians in Europe (FVE) (1), the Federation of European Companiona Animal Veterinary Associations ( FECAVA) (2) as well as members of the National Institute for Child Health and Human Development (NICHD)l in the US (3 ) as well as the American Veterinary Association (4) have explicitly endorsed the use of BD in 2011/2012 publications.

(1) Federation of Veterinarians in Europe (FVE), an umbrella organisationof National veterinary associations from 38 European Countries involved in all animal species has explicitly endorsed use of The Blue Dog Programme in 2011. Contact

(2) Federation of European Companiona Animal Veterinary Associations ( FECAVA) The human-animal bond matters to FECAVA. That is why the interdisciplinary project “The blue dog” was launched in 2006.
